Atlanta Speedwerks has finalized their driver lineup for the 2020 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup series, with Tray Ayres, Peter Ensor, and Todd Lamb. Tray Ayres joins the team for the first time, while Peter Ensor returns for his second season, and Todd Lamb rejoins the MX-5 lineup after a stint in IMSA’s TCR class.
Atlanta Speedwerks will compete in their second year of racing Honda Civic TCRs in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, with Bryan Ortiz and Nikko Reger joining to pilot the #94 Civic and Brian Henderson and Todd Lamb returning with the #84 Civic. Atlanta Speedwerks had a promising run at the Sebring race in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, but bad luck struck again. Despite leading and performing strongly, the No. 84 Honda Civic TCR faced a power issue late in the race, resulting in an eighth-place finish. The team remains optimistic and looks forward to their next race in Mid-Ohio.
